Diving in Dubai

The United Arab Emirates is very reverent and respectful of its traditions and cultural roots, embodying them in every possible way in modern projects and stimulating various adaptations in the modern world.
One of the traditional symbols of the UAE as a craft is pearl mining, and divers for this unique jewel literally symbolize the indigenous inhabitants of the country’s coast. One of the embodiments and a vivid monument of this craft is the famous installation – “Waterfall” in The Dubai Mall, and on July 7, 2021, another unique facility dedicated to the cause of divers was announced – the ultra-modern complex for diving in Dubai Deep Dive Dubai.
The complex is a real miracle and a paradise for divers of all levels and an original dream come true for diving fans. Even before the official opening, it was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the deepest diving pool in the world with a depth of 60 meters and 2 centimeters. The total volume of water is about fourteen million liters, which is equivalent to six Olympic swimming pools.

The design concept represents urban motifs of sunken apartments, a garage, various arcades and urban landscapes, which literally immediately creates an atmosphere of unimaginable surrealism and references to the legendary “Water World”. Among other things, the complex is well equipped technically: the most modern pressure chamber in the region is equipped here, dry compartments are located at a depth of six and twenty-one meters, and 56 video cameras are filmed from all possible angles and angles over the entire area of depth and diameter. An additional effect is made by special sound and audio systems, and water is purified every six hours by filtering with volcanic rocks specially developed by NASA specialists, as well as ultraviolet lighting in one of the largest filter systems in the world. For a comfortable pastime of guests, the water temperature is maintained at thirty degrees Celsius. Conference centers and other venues for events and meetings are located.
The outer facade is made in the form of an oyster, as a monument to pearl divers. The total area of one and a half thousand square meters, among other things, accommodates a souvenir shop, a diving equipment and equipment store, as well as a restaurant designed for eighty visitors, who will have access to unique views of diving adventurers.
At the same time, Deep Dive Dubai is designed not only for experienced athletes, but also for those who do not have experience at all. The team has a team of highly qualified experts and trainers from all over the world, it is possible to conduct courses and issue international certificates, and instructors are being trained. Diving is possible both with scuba diving and in the form of free diving, and the minimum age of applicants must be ten years.
The director of DDD is Jarrod Jablonsky, a cave diving record holder, who promises that diving here will be a real surprise and a bomb of emotions, and the main task of the staff is to make every visit to the pool a real event and memories for a lifetime. At the same time, safety and quality of customer service are priorities.
The project was created and presented to the world by Al Habtoor, which a few years ago already delighted the residents of Dubai and visitors to the city with the popular water theater La Perle by Dragone. This is an enchanting show that amazes with fantastic sketches, dizzying numbers and a real scattering of actors, gymnasts and extreme athletes, masterfully embodying a beautiful Arabian fairy tale under the guidance of the world famous director and director Franco Dragone.

Therefore, the new brainchild of Al Habtoor certainly excites the imagination, promises a unique experience and impressions for a lifetime. The official opening is scheduled for the end of July 2021, and the preliminary cost of the packages will start from eight hundred dirhams, which is approximately equal to 220 US dollars. The diving center is located in the Nad al-Sheba 1 area near the hippodrome and the Meidan Hotel, home to the annual World Horse Racing Championship.
Thus, Dubai opens up to the world another masterpiece and a tidbit for the residents of the country and guests of the Emirates, adding to the collection of unique attractions and entertainment. Hurry up to be one of the first to visit this amazing portal to the underwater world!
