The Emirate of Sharjah, bathed by the pristine waters of the Persian Gulf, offers a relaxing luxury vacation. Holidays in this region are possible at any time of the year, but the best time to go is spring and autumn. During the winter months the weather is far more comfortable, but the water off the coast can feel quite chilly.

Sharjah’s coastline is a soft sand and gentle entry into the water. Almost every hotel has its own beach, the cleanliness of which is always well monitored. However, almost no dirt and garbage on the city beach of the capital of the Emirate.

There are not many architectural sights here, but the Al Nour Mosque deserves some attention and on Thursday and Friday evenings there is a stunning laser show where the mosque is illuminated from all sides by changing pictures and colorful beams.
