The air temperature in Dubai changes markedly seasonally: from +19 °C in winter to +40 °C and above in summer. There are always daily fluctuations: in the coolest time of the year, it is only +13 °С at night, but in summer the heat does not completely subside even at night, when it is +29 °С outside.

On hot days, a low pressure zone forms over the city. Strong, gusty northwest shamal winds begin to blow in the region, sometimes turning into sandstorms – natural disasters that cause a decrease in visibility in the emirate.

Precipitation in Dubai is extremely rare, the average annual rainfall is recorded at 90 mm, in some years about 140 mm can fall. Mostly rains pass in the form of short showers in late winter – early spring, then thunderstorms are also possible. According to statistics, almost 360 days a year the sun shines, not a cloud in the sky.
